FAQs: Everything You Need to Know About Our Services:

Supplies & Equipment

  

All cleaning supplies and equipment are furnished by Top Mops. Our cleaning staff is well trained in the proper methods to clean granite, stainless steel and ceramic tile, to name a few. We utilize environmentally preferred cleaning products that are safe for the air, the fabrics, the pets and the people within your home. If you have a specific cleaning product that you prefer, please have it accessible to us when we arrive.

Assigned Cleaner

  

Top Mops makes every attempt to assign each customer with the same cleaner(s) with the exception of illness, vacation, or personal emergency. In the event your assigned cleaner ends employment with the company, he or she will be replaced with another trained cleaner who has been briefed on the details of your property.

Cleaning Time

Top Mops can't guarantee what time the cleaning staff will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves and not a pre-determined amount of time.  If for any reason you require a more precise time of arrival, Top Mops will work with you for a convenient solution.  Please allow for an open time frame rather than an exact arrival time when possible.

Extra Time

If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 24 hours in advance so that we can give you a price quote and revise our schedule. 

Payment Policy

Payment for your cleaning service is due, in full, at the time of service unless pre-arranged. We use QuickBooks Online Invoice Payments Account. When you open the Invoice that was emailed to you, you can click Pay Now and chose to Pay by Credit, Debit, Apple Pay or ACH Bank Transfer. We also use PayPal and Stripe.

Cancellation Policy

There is no charge for cancelling a regularly scheduled cleaning service with more than 24 hours’ notice. If our cleaning staff arrives and is unable to enter the property or if your cleaning service is not cancelled 24 hours in advance you will be responsible for one half of your cleaning service fee.  

Refunds

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers.  However we want you to be 100% satisfied, which is why we offer a 24 hour guarantee.  If we receive prompt notification, we will come back to examine the problem.  If the complaint involves the quality of service we have provided, we pledge to correct the issue at no charge.

Because each property is different, please keep us informed of any comments or suggestions you may have.  The more specific your feedback, the better job our cleaning staff can do for you.

Bed Making

FRESH sheets & bedcovers must be provided by the property owner, linen service or tenant. 

$3 per bed

Carpet & Upholstery Shampooing

Scheduled the same day as the cleaning. 
$45 per room

Asset Inventory Documentation

Photographic and written record of everything located within your property.
Fees start as low as $225

Estimates

It is not necessary to have in home estimates. We provide quotes through our scheduling software. Prices are determined by how bathrooms and rooms we will be cleaning. All cleanings include 1 kitchen/dining room and 1 living room.  All other rooms are to be billed as a room(sunrooms, bedrooms, offices, multiple kitchens, multiple living/family rooms, or furnished rooms above the garage).  

How Much Do You Charge?

We charge by how many rooms and bathrooms you need cleaned.  We do not charge hourly but by the job and stay until our work is completed!

Do I Have To Sign A Contract?

No contract required. 

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong During My Cleaning?

We apologize if an accident happens and promptly offer you a replacement check. 

Late Check Out Policy

If your guests are still in the property after check out time, our crews will head to the next house and come back to your property later that day.  We cannot guarantee your house will be completed by check in time. We will notify you that your guests have not checked out and there will be an additional charge of $45.

How Many Cleaners Will You Send?

We work in crews and depending on the square footage and type of job determines the number of cleaners to complete the job.

Do I Need To Be Present During My Cleaning?

No, just as long as you have notified us of your entry/exit protocol.

Move Out Clean Requirements

Property must have power and water.
We do not allow your movers, contractors or tenants to overlap with our cleaning crews. This is a liability as someone could slip and fall when we are mopping your floors. Also, after the cleaning of the space has been completed if a second cleaning is required an additional charge will apply.  
If your movers, contractors or tenants are still in the property at your appointment time, our crews will wait no longer than 15 minutes and then a $45 fee will be assessed, and we will reschedule.  

How Long Will It Take To Clean My Home?

We do not have a time limit for our houses but work diligently until your project is completed.

Are You Able To Complete Same Day Cleanings?

Yes, we are happy to accommodate you, schedule permitting! 

Bed Bug Policy

Under the terms of Top Mops Cleaning Services, LLC standard agreement, clients are required to "report any suspected problems with bedbug infestation immediately".  Clients are the first line of defense against bedbugs.  Further, any willful failure on the part of a client to report a bedbug infestation may result in adverse action taken against the client, up to and including termination of services.
